A Microsite to Behold

Check out this microsite. Not just made in Japan, this site says the Onitsuka Tiger shoe is "Made of Japan." It's a simple premise brought to life by turning the shoe into a virtual Japanese blog search engine. Each small block is a link to a blog. Roll over and see what the blog is about. Double click and go to the blog itself. It's really a beautiful site (and a fun way to include the blogging community in a major campaign). Another fine example of a simple idea brought to life through an immersive, complex execution. From Strawberry Frog. Via Adrants.

Web 2.0 Beautifully Explained

I just love this video created by Michael Wesch, an assistant professor of cultural anthropology at Kansas State University. Just today, I had two conversations (one via email) about how tags have changed everything. Even if you know all about Web 2.0, take a look at this video. I find it inspiring.
