Making Fiends

What a great way to count down the Halloween season. Making Fiends is a series of twenty animated shorts created by Amy Winfrey. Charlotte (voiced by Winfrey) is the new kid at a school terrorized by Vendetta, a strange little girl with the unique ability to create nasty little fiends. Students, teachers, and lunchroom ladies alike are paralyzed by Vendetta's reign of terror. Yet Vendetta's cruel plans never seem to work around the kind-hearted and naive Charlotte. I love the stark look (and creepy sound) of this odd little series, which is being picked up by Nickelodeon for the 2008 season. You can also find podcast episodes on iTunes.

Everyone's talking about our competitor's rope swing ad. The client wants to respond with a radio spot, and fast! Research tells us that our cigarette has 0.07% more charcoal than the other leading filtered cigarette. It's all we've got, so let's run with it. Jingle, perhaps? Script on my desk in an hour.

Convince our target market that when you inhale our cigarette, you're actually increasing the amount of fresh air entering your lungs. Be sure to use the new tag line developed by those four focus groups. Also, the client likes rope swings. Script on my desk by 5:00.
