William Radam was one of the most notorious 19th century snake oil salesmen in America. This distinctive logo, as well as his ambitious tagline "Cures All Diseases," makes his Microbe Killer tonic bottles a favorite of collectors today.
Via Morbid Anatomy.
I'd love to have a shirt with that logo on my chest.

I'm always looking for William Ransam and other similar Snake Oil salesman paper for my art work. I have yet to find any, although some early pharmacy (read that Drug Store) paper has some rather interesting line items listed. I wonder what kind of miracle ingredients were in some of these fixin's.
