"Per fare un albero" ("To make a tree") is a partnership between Fiat, the city of Milan, and designer Fabio Novembre. Fiberglass planters, 1:1 scale models of the Fiat 500c, will be parked along Milan's fashionable via Montenapoleone through September 30. After that, the tree planters will be moved to other parts of the city.
Via MoCo Loco.
Here's a better one from Toronto's Kensington Market. It's been there for almost 2 years. http://www.flickr.com/photos/georgie_grrl/2740057040/

What a coincidence. I've been building fiberglass trees with actual cars sticking out of them. All part of my "Who needs trees, what we need are more cars!" campaign. Up next: Burning down a rainforest to make room for my Fiberglass Rainforest display, huzzah!

Awesome!!! A car pot large enough to hold a tree and one that actually can be moved. I love this. Now if I could only find 3 pots just as awesome for the orchids my neighbor gave me, who had them 2 years and kept them in those little plastic pots they were brought home in. Know of any "orchid sized car pots"? I could use about three.
