Christmas dinner, 1936, at the home of Earl Pauley near Smithfield, Iowa. The meal consisted of cabbage, potatoes, and pie. You can bet those kids thought that pie was the most delicious holiday treat imaginable.
May we all recognize and embrace our many blessings this holiday season.

This is a reminder of how much we have to be thankful for these days!

We are so blessed. Everyone has at least one thing to be thankful for. Most of us have many. Thanks for the reminder. Merry Christmas.

Wait, all they had was cabbage and potatoes while there's a fat, juicy cat wandering around? That's a waste of some damned fine protein if you ask me.
Or maybe they saved it for their New Year's dinner...
